Description:
Are you wondering about the process of becoming a scientist, and the challenges and successes of life in the lab? Considering the life of research and academia and curious if this is a good fit for you?
Join us for a screening of Natually Obsessed, a heralded film made at Columbia University, on the true story of the struggle to become a scientist and the triumph of making a discovery. This honest review of life in the lab will be followed by discussions led by faculty members Jim Valles and John Stein. Refreshments served!
More about Brown University
Brown University
Brown was the Baptist answer to Congregationalist Yale and Harvard, Presbyterian Princeton, and Episcopalian Penn and Columbia. At the time, it was the only one that welcomed students of all religious persuasions (following the example of Roger Williams, who founded Rhode Island in 1636 on the same principle). Brown has long since shed its Baptist affiliation, but remains dedicated to diversity and intellectual freedom.Post a Countdown Widget
