Each year, nearly 200 Brown students take a leave of absence from Brown to work, to intern, to volunteer, or to simply have some time for reflection.
Come to the Curricular Resource Center (J.W.W. 310) this afternoon to talk to returned leavetakers over free lunch and snacks, check out the Center's many resources and start planning your self-enriching time off from Brown.

Brown was the Baptist answer to Congregationalist Yale and Harvard, Presbyterian Princeton, and Episcopalian Penn and Columbia. At the time, it was the only one that welcomed students of all religious persuasions (following the example of Roger Williams, who founded Rhode Island in 1636 on the same principle).
