GOLD AGAIN!
Although some of the PIM team will be participating in the relay race in Berlin, and will be fighting for the top gold position, what we are all most excited about is a different GOLD – the IAAF Gold Race Road Label. It is a pleasure for us to be able to announce that the Hervis Prague Half Marathon and Volkswagen Prague Marathon were both awarded the highest mark of quality – the Gold Label from the IAAF (International Athletic Federation). This means that PIM has become one of just a few organizers worldwide that has managed to receive two Gold labels for its races.

Register now for Golden Prague
Take advantage of early bird registration and sign up now for the fast and flat races that take place in Prague – the Hervis Prague Half Marathon (31st March 2012) and Volkswagen Prague Marathon (13th May 2012). Both races run through the historic and beautiful city centre and offer the maximum in comfort to all runners (refreshment points every 5k, free start bag, deposit bag, changing rooms, SMS with final time,...) All runners will get a medal at the finishing line - a great souvenir to take home from Prague!

Marathon star is coming to Prague
Patrick Makau is coming to Prague to promote a new running league RunCzech.com. He holds the world record in the marathon with a time of 2:03:38, set at the 2011 Berlin Marathon. He is also notable for his half marathon performances, having won a number of prominent competitions in Europe. His time of 58:52 at the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon in 2009 is the sixth-fastest half marathon time ever run. He will have training in Stromovka Park on Wednesday.

11.11.2011 - Registration opens for the regional races
Registration for one of the most popular races in the Czech Republic, the Volkswagen Olomouc Half Marathon, opens at exactly 11 a.m. on 11th November, 2011. The Volkswagen Olomouc Half Marathon will be held on 23rd June, 2012 and, as usual, the course will lead through the City centre, where you can see several historic monuments signed by UNESCO. Another very successful half marathon that takes place in the Czech Republic and opens on 11th November, is the Usti nad Labem Half Marathon which will be held on 16th September, 2012. Usti nad Labem is only 60 minutes from Prague and offers a unique course which leads through the famous chemical factory. Every 11th registrant on the 11th November will receive a T-shirt for free.

Valencia Marathon - 27th November 2011
The Divina Pastora Marathon is held annually in the historic city of Valencia which, with its completely flat circuit and perfect November temperature that averages between 12-17 degrees, represents the ideal setting for hosting such a long-distance sporting challenge. This, coupled with the race's stunning setting, makes the Divina Pastora Marathon, Valencia, one of the most important events in the national calendar.
