Vetiver's bio and tour dates
Vetiver
To Find Me Gone is the second album from Vetiver, singer/songwriter Andy Cabic's ever-evolving musical home base. To Find Me Gone comes two years after Vetiver's eponymous debut and is being released May 23 by DiCristina Stairbuilders. Since Vetiver's release, Andy has toured the world repeatedly as a member of close crony Devendra Banhart's live band ("Hairy Fairy" and "Queens of Sheba" are among the monikers they're known by), as well as with Vetiver (occasionally with Banhart in tow); Vetiver released Between, an EP of live and demo recordings in conjunction with their 2005 European tour. Over the passed two years, C...

Rue Royale's bio and tour dates
Rue Royale
Harmonies from different continents stretch into the night-sky as warm guitars strum. Distant percussion and plaintive piano pulse nearby. You're traveling along Rue Royale. Rue Royale is a musical journey that developed from Ruth and Brookln Dekker's over-the-pond relationship. Influenced by Fleetwood Mac, Sufjan Stevens, Zero 7 and the northern UK soul of Elbow and The Doves, they began writing together and gradually developed the candle-lit Rue Royale sound, honed through acoustic gigs and home-recorded demos. A lovingly illustrated EP, The Search For Where To Go, is the first fruit with copies already dispatched to intrigued music ...

More about Divadlo Archa
Divadlo Archa
Description from Divadlo ArchaDescribed by the UK’s Guardian as the “The Alternative National Theatre”, with its two blackbox spaces the Archa Theatre is one of the best-equipped small and mid-sized venues in Europe. It is one of the few theatres in the Czech Republic that is moving beyond the principle of repertoire and functioning as a production house with shows that are often interactive and utilize new technology, dance, and puppetry. The Archa Theatre takes its name from the Czech word for “ark“, and the allusion to the story of Noah is intentional. Aboard his ark Noah gathered the most diverse collection of animals; Archa strives to present the greatest variety of the most interesting artistic specimens. The theatre serves productions from opera to drama to dance to concerts and mixtures of all of those. Archa’s opening performance in 1994: a collaboration between American musician John Cale and the Japanese Butoh dancer, Min Tanaka proved to be indicative of the theatre’s mission and program as it tore down national and artistic boundaries to create an unforgettable performance. 12 years on, the Archa Theatre has presented the public with a host of important Czech and foreign artists while at the same time creating a wide array of its own projects. Artists from scores of countries and every continent but Antarctica have performed with Archa. In addition to touring Europe, Asia, and Africa, Archa has been moving its shows outside of the traditional theatre space with its ‘social specific’ performances: professional artists and residents of the Bela pod Bezdezem –Jezova refugee camp recently turned the camp into a theatre with “At 11:20 AM I Will Be Leaving You!” Archa is also proud to be the venue that introduces artists such as David Byrne, Philip Glass, Einsturzende Neubauten, DV8 Physical Theatre, PME, Ultima Vez and Wim Vanderkeybus, The White Stripes, Bang on a Can, Cheek by Jowl, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Blindman Quartet, Rinde Echert, Jan Kodet, Anne Teresa de Keersmeaker and Rosas, Robert Wilson, and Deja Donne to Prague and the Czech Republic. March 2006 Archa will mark the beginning of an even more accessible “English Friendly” program. The theatre also has a bar downstairs and a cafe next door. Both host various photographic and artistic exhibitions. The comfortable cafe can be visited without attending any performance at the theatre and now has a non-smoking bottom floor.
