Hi Pastor/Ministry Leader,
First off, let me say, I am a fan of yours. You have a very significant calling and the stakes are incredibly high. We need you on fire and engaged. Unfortunately, the statistics tell a different story.
I can relate. I’ve been a pastor since 2000. When I first started, because of the pressure of ministry and pain in relationships my past caught up with me. My toxic coping strategy of self-injury intensified. I’d preach sermons on Sunday and carve words into my body on Monday I believed lies about myself and lies about God.
Thankfully, God wanted me free so badly he confronted my sin and pain and led me through a complex and intense journey of healing.
Twelve years later, still serving as a pastor, now at Grace Church in Powell, Ohio I have a passion to see people, especially pastors become Souls on Fire.
I’ve been able to share my journey of recovery most recently though a unique message called Your Secret Name. I am committed to sharing this message of hope with you. My guess is, like me, you’ve believed some lies about yourself and your Father too. I believe these lies take the form of Names that hold us back from our potential.
