TEDDY BEAR SAFARI

This event is Included with your paid admission or membership to the Zoo.   For those of you without a membership....Any (child ages 2-9) who brings their a teddy bear (or other stuffed toy) to the Zoo this day will receive complimentary admission to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium when accompanied by a paying adult. (Zoombezi Bay not included)

During the hours of 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., The Nationwide Children’s Hospital clinic volunteers will be on site offering medical attention to the teddies.  Children are invited to bring their special friends for wellness checkups and more.  Some may need an eye patch or stitches, while some may just need band-aids for minor “boo-boos”.  It’s an opportunity for children to learn a little about the healthcare industry and their own annual check-ups. Character ambassadors will also be on-hand for children.   Come on out and watch our animal friends enjoy tasty frozen treats to beat the heat and make their summer day more "bear"able.   11:00am           Polar Bears in North America
