Event details: The Sailing Ships of the Chesapeake
Description
"The Sailing Ships of the Chesapeake" featuring marine paintings and bronze sculptures celebrating the Chesapeake Bay's maritime heritage. This special exhibit is held in our foyer gallery with original artwork created by J. Robert Burnell, Bob Holland, Bill Allen, William Osmundsen, Peter Rindlisbacher, Jim Bolland, George McWilliams, Michael Goodwin, Jim Campbell and David M. Weiss. "The Sailing Ships of the Chesapeake" continues through Sunday, November 29, 2009.
Skipjack Nautical Wares & Marine Gallery is located in Olde Towne Portsmouth on the riverfront next to the High Street Ferry Landing and the Historic Hog Island Lighthouse Freznel lens.
Visit us by car, ferry or yacht with free daily docking at the High Street Landing! We are also located just slightly south of the "0" mile marker on the intra-coastal waterway and a short ferry ride across the river from Norfolk
