13th Annual Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival
The 13th Annual Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival celebrates the local and national heritage of seafaring and maritime trades by taking nautical songs and music to the streets of Portsmouth. Dozens of sea music performers present folk music and song celebrating our maritime heritage. The festival is held in downtown Portsmouth’s Market Square area at 8 venues including the Press Room (77 Daniel St), the Portsmouth Athenaeum (9 Market Square), and sometimes, right out on the street! All-ages event with audience participation encouraged. Hours Sat. 10AM - 10PM, Sun. 1PM - 5:30PM. All events FREE; donations appreciated.
