The Rose Garden Arena Portland, Oregon serves as the city’s premier indoor sports arena. The Rose Garden Arena Portland is one of few facilities that make up the sports and entertainment district known as the Rose Quarter. The Rose Garden Arena Portland project first started construction in 1993 and cost $262 million to complete. The Rose Garden Arena Portland officially opened on October 12, 1995 and can hold over 20,000 guests. Since opening, the Rose Garden Arena Portland has become one of Oregon’s biggest venues.
The Rose Garden Arena is home to the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers and the WHL’s Winterhawks. When in season, these local teams fill up the Rose Garden Arena schedule with many of their local events.
