Essentially a gathering is an opportunity for transgender, two-spirit, gender-queer, gender-variant, intersexed people and allies to share their spiritual journey and open a dialog for deeper expressions of faith, fundamental understanding of our existence and the discovery of how our journeys of gender and spirit are intertwined.


The structure:

15 min. of guided meditation

Approx. 30-45 min. of lecture, video presentation or guest speaker

1 hour + spent in group discussion around a topic or initial question offered by the facilitator



The content:

Usually a question is posed that is intended to set the tone and topic of discussion. This question is not intended to be answered, just to be pondered.

In the lecture, presentation or satsang, the speaker/presenter/facilitator directs and moderates the tempo and depth.
