2012 Eastminster Community Garden
The Grow Portland Community Gardens program provides space to grow healthy food. Gardeners from diverse backgrounds learn from each other and build connections.
How it works
- Individuals and families work assigned small plots (15’x 15’ or 15’ x 30’)
- Participants sign user agreements and pay annual plot fees. Plot use for this year runs through Feb. 28, 2013.
- A volunteer site coordinator assists paid staff to manage the gardens.
- Plot fees, business sponsorships, general donations and grants fund the program.
