The PSO dedicates the season's final concerts to honoring the mighty Kotzschmar Organ, truly one of the great treasures of our city, in its centennial year. Toward the Splendid City is an "On the Town"-like celebration, festive and brassy, leading into the spectacular brilliance and breathtaking virtuosity that characterize the Organ Symphony. An appropriately powerful program for such a powerful instrument!
