Serving Dinner at Blanchet House

Amma says, "Lending a helping hand to a neglected soul, feeding the hungry, a compassionate smile towards the sad and dejected, this, is the real service, a manifestation of true Love. We should invoke God's compassion in our own hearts and hands." In her own life, day after day, Amma offers such a flawless example of how to live selflessly, working with all our heart to serve others. She says any single individual can positively influence life with ideals based on love, renunciation and an attitude of service. We hope you can get involved and join us in this invigorating endeavor. To join this seva you must first RSVP with Clare at 503-705-7350 and then show up at 4:30 pm to be assigned a position. We will serve 300 meals in one hour, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Sevites (volunteers) may join the staff for dinner after the free public meal has been served.
