Over thirty potters from all over eastern North Carolina participate in the Eastern North Carolina Pottery Festival which occurs on the grounds of the historic Hughes Plantation which is one of Jones County's prized treasures. Raku firing, children's pottery wheel and various other throwing techniques will be demonstrated.
