Family Movie Night Under The Stars: The Tale of Despreaux

Families can flock to Heritage after the sun sets and catch a fun, family-friendly movie under the stars! Each week a new movie is featured on the giant outdoor screen and families are invited to bring chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to the show. You can also purchase a wallet-conscious dinner, popcorn, movie snacks and beverages before and during the movie at Blossoms Cafe by Nibbles-n-Sips and at our concession stand! Each night we'll feature a special activity before the movie at 7:15pm, so be sure to arrive early for a night of fun! Note: If there is inclement weather on any of these dates, the movie will be featured on September 25. Fees: $4 Member Youth, $5 Member Adult, $5 Non-Member Youth, $6 Non-Member Adult. Friday, August 28: “The Tale of Despereaux” (rated G) Little Despereaux the mouse is born tiny, wheezy and with comically oversized ears and is very different from his family. His love for a princess leads him on adventures which involve him with an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of his dungeon and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears in this beautifully crafted animated film.
