    Bad sound quality?! I've seen over 30 shows there and the only time the sound was bad is when the band sucked!

    Dean Ween (Mickey Melchiondo) of Ween wrote to me via email coorespondence that "playing @ Mr. Small's is lilke walking out from your living room onto a stage and playing a kick ass venue jam packed with some of the best fans ever." This is a good thing for Pittsburgh as Dean Ween once wrote on the Ween site after playing Metropol (before the days of Small's saving the Pittsburgh music scene = local and national) that next time they "play Pittsburgh they might as well book the gig in a bathroom stahl within the Greyhound bus station" (which is alexbard57 = who wrote the agenda driven bad review of Small's below favorite venue ever).     Worst venue for sound quality in Western, PA. Blownout low-end every time I've been there. It's a shame too, because they're the only place in town that gets a decent line-up of artists. I've stopped wasting my time with Smalls, because I'm always disappointed with the experience.
