From the Earth to the Fire and Back at Pittsburgh Glass Center
Using their hands and three basic elements - sand, soda and flux - 28 local artists create, advocate and comment on the current state of the earth in Pittsburgh Glass Center's (PGC) newest exhibition, 'From the Earth to the Fire and Back.' The exhibition coincides with Pittsburgh's designation as the North American host city for the United Nations World Environment Day and will be on view through June 13, 2010. A free reception that is open to the public will be held on Friday, March 5 from 6 to 9pm.
