This four class series will help you feel informed, prepared and ready for the birth of your baby. In a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll learn about how labor begins, the process of labor, when to go to the hospital, pain medications, common medical interventions and cesarean birth. We will cover basic labor coping skills such as breathing, relaxation and positioning. One class includes a pediatrician visit to talk about newborns. Classes are small and personal, so there’s plenty of time for questions, discussion, and individual instruction time. Plan to finish this class 2-4 weeks prior to your due date.
Classes are held weekly from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM for four weeks. Cost for all four classes is $100 per couple.
Dates for this series are: September 4, September 11, September 18, and September 25.
