Event details: The Arc of the United States 58th National Convention
Description
Founded in 1950 by groups of parents and other concerned individuals, The Arc of the United States is the nation’s oldest and largest advocacy and service organization of and for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Arc of the United States is comprised of more than 770 chapters and boasts more than 130,000 members. Ranked by Forbes Magazine as one of the nation’s largest charities*, The Arc’s Annual Convention attracts more than 800 attendees who look to our exhibitors to provide them with information on products and services, as well as awareness materials to support them in their roles as parents, siblings, children, self-advocates, volunteers, staff, and professionals in the field.
The focus of this year’s annual convention is to provide information on best practices and innovation across the spectrum of services, supports and research that affect people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
