Background: I really can't remember a time when I wasn't performing. I started traveling and performing with my family when I was quite young. By the time I was in high school, we did as many as 22 gigs a month. My grandfather was a self-taught mountain banjo player and taught me all of the old songs (the Appalachian version of many Irish songs I perform today.) I went to college to become a composer and performed everything from opera to rock during those years. Then I lived in Nashville for 20 years where I wrote a musical that ran for 7 years and worked in music and television, doing everything from music shows about songwriters to do...More about Club Cafe Live
