Aesop Rock with The Cool Kids
Show is open to the public, it costs $12 for non CMU students. Tickets are only available at the Information Desk in the Unversity Center on Carnegie Mellon's campus. Show is expected to sell out. 300 tickets will be reserved for day of purchases, and will go on sale starting at 3:00pm.
Hailing from Long Island, New York, Aesop Rock has been pushing the limits
of hip hop since he came on the scene in the mid 90s. With infectious and
relentless verbosity, fans will surely enjoy the rhymes of Aesop. You
won't want to miss this music which has been called a capture of "the
twitchy fractured neurotransmitters of the George Bush/Paris Hilton
American schizophrenia of the ‘00s". Aesop Rock is the voice of new wave, underground hip hop. Pay special attention to Chicagoan openers, The Cool Kids.
