LEARNING AND EARNING: Pathways to Prosperity 2019

LEARNING AND EARNING: Pathways to Prosperity Increasing individual and community-wide prosperity in rural America requires the collaborative efforts of policymakers and practitioners in the education and the workforce systems. Join colleagues from across the country to learn how high schools are preparing students to take advantage of the education and credentialing opportunities provided by 2- and 4-year colleges and universities and business and industry. In addition, learn how partnerships between education institutions and the workforce system—workforce development boards, economic development agencies, business, and industry—are resulting in increased postsecondary education attainment and, more importantly, a stronger and better prepared and positioned workforce. Plenary sessions and small group workshops will impart knowledge and information and serve as a venue for broadening participants’ resource network.
