Description
The Visitor's Center is open Mon.-Fri. 8 to 5. Please use the Visitor's Center whenever possible. Walk should be done in daylight hours. Trail goes past some historic homes on "The Hill", through Hilger's Gulch Park, passes the Courthouse, Capitol Bldg, WW II, Korean and Vietnam War Memorials, Mickelson "Fighting Stallions" memorial and Capitol Lake. From there it goes to Griffin Park and follows the Riverwalk along the Missouri River.
