Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
Encanto Park Sports Complex, N. 15th Avenue & W. Encanto Blvd - From West, take I-10 Exit #144A for 7th Avenue. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for 7th Ave N; turn left at N 7th Ave. Go .3 miles and turn left onto W. McDowell Rd for .5 miles, then turn right at N. 15th Ave for approximately .5 miles and turn right into Encanto Park Sports Complex parking lot (after passing N. Holly St). From East, take I-10 Exit #144 for 7th Avenue. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for 7th Ave N; merge onto N 7th Ave for .3 miles, then continue as above. Event Description: Enjoy a lovely walk through the tree-lined streets and beautiful vintage homes in the Roosevelt, Encanto Palmcroft and Willo Historic Districts. The 10k route will take you to Margaret T. Hance Park where the Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures is holding the 3rd Annual Old World Phoenix Oktoberfest (entrance fee required). Leashed pets allowed on walk, but not in Oktoberfest area.

Walkers must return to Encanto Park to finish walk event by 2 p.m., so may prefer to delay entry until after completing walk. If entering the Oktoberfest during the walk, be sure to get your hand stamped as you leave if you want to return after completing the walk. Amenities:
