Location: Arizona State Fairgrounds

Admission: Free admission. $7 Fairgound Parking fee
The Purpose: Proceeds from the VNSA Used Book Sale benefit three local human services agencies: Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County, Inc., Toby House, Inc., and Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. Since its inception, VNSA has donated over $6 million to local charities.
The organization: VNSA is unique among Valley charities in that it is an all-volunteer organization with no paid employees. VNSA began in 1949 as the fundraising arm of the Visiting Nurse Service of Phoenix. Through its Annual Used Book Sale, VNSA seeks to make books available to the community at very reasonable prices and raise significant amounts of money for Valley agencies that serve the needs people directly.
