Verde River Challenge

This is a kayaking funfest for everyone from beginner to advanced. Two divisions, one competitive and one just to float along and with all combinations of boats. About 150 kayaks and canoes of all sizes, colors and shapes will run the Verde River from the White Bridge in Camp Verde, 10 miles down to Beasley Flats. The parks and rec supply spotters along the route to help everyone in a touchy corner or spot they could get wet in. They can help you if needed or laugh at you when not. Everyone with a kayak or canoe is welcome to sign up and join the race. You may rent a kayak for me for $50 for single kayaks and $80 for a double. I have 5 single and 2 doubles available for rent. I will haul them up to the river and back, also supplying paddles and PFD's. This price does NOT include registration into the race.
