Description
Taliesin West is the creation of renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright (He also designed Grady Gammage Theater at ASU.). It served as Wright's summer home and as a school of architecture. Our visit will be the 2-hour Desert Shelter Tour. The Desert Shelter program is the living laboratory where for more than seventy years of students have designed, built and inhabited their own architectural experiments. This is a tour of the dwellings built and lived in by these architecture students. When factoring in "check-in" time, the tour will finish about 3:45. Hiking shoes are STRONGLY recommended.
