St. Mary's Food Bank November Effort

This is our regular second Saturday event at St. Mary's Food Bank. There will have other Meetup Groups joining us, as usual for a fun time supporting the country's first and largest food bank! Please wear closed toe shoes!! We will be working the assembly line packing boxes or bagging potatoes, apples, oranges or whatever they need us to do. This will be a noon to 3 pm event. The minimum age limit is 12 years old. I encourage those with teenagers to bring them as guests. It is a great event to expose your kids to volunteering and seeing how important it is to help those that are in need. After we are done we sometimes stop somewhere for a beverage and bite to eat. If you are a member of multiple groups please sign up with only one group so it is better to keep an accurate account of how many people we will have. Please change your RSVP to a "No" as soon as you know that you are unable to make it if you responded as a "Yes". Thanks for your consideration with this. We had a number of no-shows and last minute cancelations for this last event, so please be considerate of the fact this is an organization that is relying on the numbers to show up that I give to them at least a day prior to the event.
