Coon Bluff Campout, Fishing and Kayaking on the Salt River You're invited to attend a campout at Coon Bluff Campground on the Salt River in Mesa. This place is great for fishing, hiking and kayaking. No charge for camping, but every vehicle needs a Tonto pass hanging from its mirror. You can bring Popups and RVs to this spot. There is a paved road the whole way. Please stop by QuickTrip on the way out and pick up a Tonto pass and a couple of bundles of wood for the fire. Click here for driving directions.
