Bluff Springs Loop # 1

This is a really fun 12-mile backpack in the Western Superstions! We'll start the Peralta Trailhead and head east into Barkley Basin towards Miner's Needle. We'll veer north and climb approx. 2,000' to a saddle and the junction with the Whiskey Springs trail. We'll continue north and drop down to LaBarge spring to camp for the night. The site has good water and campfires are allowed. On Sunday, we'll climb back up to the Crystal Springs junction and then head west on the Bluff Springs trail past a great view of Weaver's Needle before heading into beautiful Barks Canyon.
