Animal Reiki Class

Animal Reiki Class Pre-requisite: Reiki Level I (If you would like to learn Animal Reiki and have not completed Reiki Level I please see our Calendar for a schedule of classes, or call to schedule a private class for your group.) Dates/Times: November 21st from 9 ÂÂ- 5 pm AND November 30th from 6:30 ÂÂ- 8:30 p.m. Cost: $125, includes booklet and a certificate of completion. A light lunch will be provided on Nov. 21st. Curriculum: •Determining how you most commonly receive information during a session •Chakra systems of various animals •Communicating with people about animal Reiki, from introduction to sharing information with an animalÂÂ's owner after a treatment •Preparing for a Treatment •Giving a Treatment, including an understanding of hands on and hands off treatments •Ending a Treatment •Guidelines for working with different species •Healing Crisis ÂÂ- what it is and how it may affect animals and people •End of Life Transitions •How to work with veterinarians and other animal health care professionals, shelters and rescues •Hands on practice at a local animal rescue The class will be divided between class time and hands on time with animals at a local animal rescue. Between classes homework assignments will be given that will provide you with opportunities to put into practice what youÂÂ've learned. The final class will entail follow up questions and answers from previous class and homework assignments, as well as sharing your experiences sharing Reiki with animals. Please wear comfortable clothing and come dressed for the weather. On November 21st, closed-toe shoes are required as we will be working with horses and animals at a local animal rescue.
