Description
The thought-provoking play tells the story of a novice nun barely out of her teens who has given birth in a convent to a child she is now accused of murdering. Insisting that the dead child was the result of a virgin birth, a psychiatrist and the mother superior of the convent clash during the resulting investigation. Agnes claims no memory or knowledge of the event. Her Mother Superior, Mother Miriam Ruth, insists that Agnes does not understand what happened. Appropriate for teens and older.
