The World Café Live is a small live music venue located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Unlike the majority of music venues out there, the World Café Live Philadelphia makes it a focus to enhance the live performance experience by making it a moment of peace and enjoyment as opposed to stress and irritation. The World Café Live Philadelphia is also very dedicated to providing a space to showcase music while attracting and inspiring musicians. The unique focus and dedication of World Café Live make it a Philadelphia must see for music enthusiasts.
The World Café Live Philadelphia is divided into two spaces: Upstairs Live and Downstairs Live. Upstairs Live is a café and full service restaurant featuring daily performances and radio broadcasts. Downstairs Live is a three-tiered music hall used to feature World Café Live Philadelphia's major acts and special events. Downstairs Live is equipped with a PA and stage monitor system, lighting fixtures, dimming racks, full bar and restaurant.
Although the World Café Live schedule focuses on younger and less main stream musical performances, it is no reason to dismiss it. The World Café Live schedule still offers a tremendous amount of musical talent. In addition, the World Café Live Philadelphia hosts many open mic nights for the inspiring rock star in all of us.
