PRO-ACT Recovery Walks! 2012

Come out and support recovery from addiction. Join master of ceremonies Ted Williams, known as “the Golden Voice,” plus Mayor Michael Nutter and other officials and thousands of walkers in celebration of National Recovery Month. Raise awareness of this public health concern, provide hope that people do recover and help break last year’s Walk record of 15,000 participants. Post-walk stage program includes performances by three finalists from the 2012 Recovery Idol competition.

Registration – 7 a.m.
Walk (1.75 miles) begins – 9 a.m.
Post-walk stage program – 10 a.m.

Cost: Free - Donations appreciated. Donations benefit PRO-ACT's recovery services in southeastern Pennsylvania.
