Description
The German Society of Pennsylvania has dedicated its efforts to preserving the German cultural heritage by sponsoring courses in conversational German, awarding scholarships to college students majoring in German and prizes to high school students of German. In addition, the Society offers lectures on topics of interest to German Americans, concerts featuring music by German composers, and social activities that preserve many of the regional customs of German speaking lands.
