There are very few bands that have managed to weave a web of mystery around them. Very few have survived and kept going strong until today. The Trocadero Theatre
The Trocadero Theatre is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Trocadero Theatre Philadelphia first opened in 1870 as Arch Street Opera House. In the Trocadero Theatre’s beginning years, the venue was used for musical comedies, traveling minstrel shows, vaudeville acts and burlesque performances. In the late 1970s, the Trocadero Theatre Philadelphia was renovated and converted into an art house cinema and fine arts theatre. A decade later the Trocadero Theatre Philadelphia was once again remodeled but this time it was converted into a dance club, concert hall and live music venue. The Trocadero Theatre’s long and unique history has scored it a spot on the U.S. Register of Historic Places.Today, the Trocadero Theatre schedule features a variety of concerts, movies and special events.
