Description
From the creator of Lunar Sea, Opus Cactus, Baseball, Orbit, and Passion, comes Botanica. Creating a total theatrical dance environment, MOMIX returns to the Annenberg Center and transforms the stage into other worldly beauty, transfixing the audience with their special brand of stage magic. MOMIX combines larger-than-life athletic dance, riveting music, inventive costumes and props to create a world of surrealistic images, brought to life by a cast of dancer-illusionists. Costumes, projections, and props designed by Michael Curry (The Lion King) evoke a vivid landscape populated by Artistic Director Moses Pendleton’s whimsical, mythical imagination. These performances are part of the Dance Celebration Series, presented by Dance Affiliates and Penn Presents.
