Chestnut Hill's 13th Annual Home and Garden Festival
Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia’s Garden District, is proud to celebrate the 13th Annual Home and Garden Festival on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 11 am to 5 pm. Over 150 home and garden vendors including a block of green specialists and a garden display for composting and growing produce with onsite experts will be present to suggest the best techniques. There will be food offerings featuring Chestnut Hill’s fine restaurants and live music and dance performances. For kids there will be amusement rides, carnival games, face painting and a rock-climbing wall. The cost to attend this event is free and parking is $5. The rain date for this event is Sunday, May 17, 2009.
