Saturday, September 18, 2010 � 9 a.m. � 5 p.m. Class held at Helendale CSD Board Room 26719 Vista Road, Suite 6, Silver Lakes (Helendale, CA) The High Desert & Mountain Master Composters are looking for interested citizens who would like to become �Master Composters.� Here�s what you�ll get: � Valuable composting/gardening handbooks and fact sheets on: - Greencycling Options - Container gardening - Uses for fresh mulch - Native plants - Uses for composted greenwaste - Water Conservation - Vermicomposting (worms) - Useful gardening ideas � The opportunity to meet and network with other local gardening enthusiasts. � Fun! Make new friends with other High Desert & Mountain residents who share a common interest in gardening. � A Master Composter certificate for completing training class.
