Boston Train Museum Series - Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

WeÂ’ll visit one of BostonÂ’s museums every month though the winter. All trips originate Tom SwensonÂ’s home in Fitchburg, Mass. Members and guests can park at TomÂ’s home and walk a short distance to the Fitchburg MBTA Commuter Rail Station, where weÂ’ll board the train to BostonÂ’s North Station. From there, weÂ’ll take the MBTA system to our destination. If Fitchburg is not convenient, you may arrange to meet us at one of the stops along the Fitchburg-Action commuter rail line or at North Station. Please see www.mbta.com for schedule and fare information. All trips meet in at TomÂ’s at 9 a.m. SHARP! We will NOT miss our train waiting for stragglers. Directions to TomÂ’s will be provided when you RSVP Our inbound train departs Fitchburg at 9:20 a.m. and arrives at North Station at 10:46 a.m. Our outbound train departs North Station at 5:30 p.m. and arrives in Fitchburg at 7:02 p.m. The train fare from Fitchburg is $15.50 round trip.
