    Bio
Whole Wheat Bread is from Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida. They are the nation’s original Dirty South punk band! Like their forefathers Bad Brains, WWB is doing their part to redefine punk for a whole new generation. Their sound is influenced by both punk (i.e. Rancid) and crunk (i.e. Lil Jon).

In the past year, WWB has toured the nation several times over with some of punk’s best bands including Bouncing Souls, Gym Class Heroes, Suicide Machines, The Aquabats, Reel Big Fish, MXPX, Street Dogs, Stretch Arm Strong, Bedouin Soundclash, Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, A Wilhelm Scream, Tsunami Bomb, The F-Ups, Big D & the Kids Table, I am the Avalanche and others. They’ve also done shows with Bad Brains, Rancid, New Found Glory, Jack’s Mannequin, From First To Last, Matchbook Romance, Long Beach Shortbus, Motion City Soundtrack, Fenix TX, Allister and Against All Authority not to mention the Florida dates of Warped!

WWB’s debut album Minority Rules is available now. It was produced by Darian Rundall (Pennywise, Yellowcard, Strung Out). It’s received rave reviews and even ended up on a few “best of the year” lists including Orlando Sentinel (by music critic Jim Abbott) and Buzz 105.9 FM (by Meat). The album recently debuted on Billboard Magazine’s Heatseekers Chart (# 8 West North Central).

WWB currently consists of Aaran Abraham a.k.a. Nasty Nigga Fleetwood on vocals/guitar/bass and Joseph Largen a.k.a. Mr. Whitefolks on the skins.

The band continues to tour behind Minority Rules while they also celebrate the release of a new EP Punk Life that was produced by Travis Huff (Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy).

Within days of posting one of the EP tracks, a cover of Lil Jon’s “I Don’t Give a Fuck” on their MySpace page, the band was contacted by none other than the King of Crunk himself. The band has since done sessions in world-class studios with Lil Jon. No word yet on when the collaborations will be released but it’s safe to say fans of both acts are in for a suprise.

In the meantime, you can hear tracks from both Punk Life and Minority Rules on XM Radio’s Fungus 53 and BBC Radio 1’s Punk Show.

Whole Wheat Bread is on the road non-stop so be sure to check out a live show!
