This urban R&B artist came up in a rap group called Nappy Headz. After he recorded “I’m F**ked Up,” which was a take-off on Akon’s hit, “Locked Up,” Akon took T-Pain into the Konvict Muzik label. T-Pain produced and did most of the writing for “Rappa Ternt Sanga,” an album released on December 2005, which included a top-twenty single, “I’m Sprung.”
