    Bio
It’s been a long time coming for a band to bring back all the greatness of old school pop punk adding a new age flare, which is exactly what This Time Next Year has done. Formed in 2006, California natives, This Time Next Year were on a strict mission to deliver highly energetic pop punk music to the masses. The band consisting of Pete Dowdalls (vocals), Brad Wiseman (guitar, vocals), Denis Cohen (guitar), Tony Allio (bass), and Aaron Seminoff (drums), wasted no time in getting their band in the scene.

Soon after forming the band, they recorded an EP with producer Zach Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios, and then quickly embarked on a West coast tour to bring their new music to the fans. Word started to spread about this refreshing new band and soon enough their hard work bought them a record deal with Escapist Records.

In early 2007 the band entered Nu-Tone Studios with producer Willie Samuels (Green Day, Broadway Calls, Divit) to complete work on their debut album, A Place For You. The album received rave reviews from the likes of Absolutepunk.net who said the album was “the most addicting thing I’ve heard” in 2007. Following the album’s release, This Time Next Year took the road again for two successful U.S. tours that included dates with Set Your Goals, Fireworks, Just Surrender, and 2*Sweet.

Without any hesitation- they were back in the studio and released another EP, The Longest Way Home, in July 2008 on Run For Cover Records. The EP was streamed on Absolutepunk.net and the video for one of the songs, “Alex in Wonderland,” was featured on AltPress.com.

Add to the list of all the accomplishments above, This Time Next Year was listed on Absolutepunk.net’s “Absolute 100 Bands to Check Out” and has played with such bands as Cartel, Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong, and many more. While not touring, they are playing shows in their local town and other parts of California. This Time Next Year is a hard working band with a taste for making old school pop punk new again. They have the talent, they have the drive and they have only just begun.
