The Tom Foolery Band

The Tom Foolery Band is an original cover band Touring regionally, playing locally and having a blast all along the way. No town is safe, no song is too taboo, no listener will ever be the same.... thank you and we’re sorry.

In 1998 a friend was in need of entertainment for a prominent West Tennessee Festival, so three guys put together a notebook full of music and created a show. The show was such a success that The Tom Foolery Band was unveiled and went on to play throughout their remaining college semesters. Beginning in West Tennessee and with only one original member left, the TFB reformed in 2002. Nashville and new members, brought a new sound with fresh ideas. Switching from the old to the new and adding the element of spontaneity, this original cover band is making their name known regionally.

Performing at venues and colleges through out Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Missouri. Everywhere they go; people have heard them or the reputation that precedes the band. The TFB has been showcased at Nashville’s Music City Marathon, 5 years in a row, Jackson’s Casey Jones Train Festival opening for Marty Stuart and then again opening for Rick Springfield, the Nashville Predators hockey games, Silky O’ Sullivan’s on Beale Street in Memphis and in Nashville you can usually catch them at Bailey's Sports Bar and Grill downtown on Broadway where they have blown the doors off with George Killian on St. Patrick's Day for the last 4 years in a row.

Musically, they are a combination of everything you have in your CD collection spanning the course of five decades. A typical night with The Tom Foolery Band can have you shaking it like a Polaroid picture to Outkast, grooving to Maroon 5 and singing along the acoustic renditions of Britney Spears. Not to mention the classic country & rock, funk, and blues. From A to Z, these guys play it all.

The Tom Foolery Band brings a genuine energy that only playing cover tunes can. Not faced with the burdens of selling records and the music industry machine, the band focuses on making people laugh, sing, dance and sometimes leave. They're energetic and sure to make audiences have a good time. The band likes to incorporate the same feeling that their name expresses… have fun and take no prisoners. No song is safe; no town will ever be the same. Often announcing at the beginning of their show, “...we are going to play two songs you love and at least one you will absolutely hate”.
