The Princess of Chicago

The Princess of Chicago emerged as one of the most lyrical female emcees' of Chicago.Niece of Chicago's own B.l.h.u.n.t. she was destined to step out of his shadow and into her own.Born and raised most of her life on Chicago's gritty Westside home to rappers:Crucial Conflict,Twista and Lupe Fiasco,she was destined to make it out also.She attended Proviso East her junior year where she perfected her battling skills in the cafeteria.Troubled as a teen and constantly getting suspended Sparkle,(birthname) was sent to Westside Holistic Academy on Chicago's westside where she fell in love with photography. Sparkle says, "My only escape was my microphone,and my camera."Her photography teacher Will Okun quotes "She's the only student I had that would take pictures and sell them." After high school Sparkle started her own record/publishing company Feel My Flow.She attended Columbia College Chicago shortly only to take time off to work on her career including:The release of two mixtapes The Princess of Chicago vol.1,2, and her new dvd/soundtrack Diary Of A Mad Black Rapper, which will be released October 16th, 2008.She is currently completing online courses at Full Sail University while working on her long anticipating first album 7-27.
