Marquette is the queen city of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It's home to about 20,000 people and Northern Michigan University. A major rock band visiting the UP is a rarity, so when one does, they are heavily embraced by the people. If The Police visited Marquette, thousands and thousands would purchase tickets. There are many great venues to play at including the Barry Events Center, Lakeview Arena, or even the Superior Dome. They could even play outdoors at Lower Harbor park. Marquette and the rest of the U.P. would no doubt love The Police, and it would be great for the Marquette economy.
