The Pity Dates are brand new to the scene and “A Sad Collection” is their first collective release. Formed out of necessity, the individual members of The Pity Dates couldn’t get a gig to save their life...they figured it couldn’t hurt...too much, to combine efforts and see what happens. Each artist, David Vee (Vanden Enden), Elijah Lucian, Emily Lamb and David Andrew Wiebe bring a unique flavour to the songs, as each song is individually written by each artists and supported by the other members. The genres span from indie-electronic-pop, folk to R&B. Sad and desperate, the Pity Dates are hoping to make an impact on at least 10 people before their collective careers are through. J
Most recently Elijah Lucian was selected by the Big Rock Untapped website to have one of his songs, “The Way You Move” on it’s yearly CD release.
David Vee ( Vanden Enden) worked with and performed across the country with renowned music producer David Foster in 2008. Since then, David has branched out musically working with Russ Broom, (Adult Pop/Rock), Andre Hammer (Progressive House), and started the absurdist project, “The Dog Cat Heart Triagle Project”.
