The Dirtball

Emerging from the Pacific Northwest, comes a rap artist with quick flows and dope beats ready to continue building his already loyal legion of West Coast fans. Signed with Suburban Noize Records, The Dirtball, originally from Oregon, continues to slam the positivity down at all of his live shows, infecting large avenues and many diverse groups of people. Before returning to his Oregon roots and launching his solo career, "The Dirtball", (real name David Alexander), built a reputation as the stellar frontman for Salt Lake City rap funk favorites, Chola, (who, in their own right had six years of intense show playing around the U.S. and shared the stage with several well-known acts). Soon realizing that the game of hip-hop and straight-up rappin' was his niche, he finalized and produced his full length demo in 2002, "The Dirty D Project Vol.1", at his home studio. After honing his craft for over a decade, Dirtball has laid his foundation and is ready to construct his home at the Sub Noize camp. His second CD is in the works, nearly to the finishing point and is slated to release sometime in the early part of 2004 on Suburban Noize Records. Already, Dirtball's music is being heard on Microsoft's AMPED snowboarding games 1 & 2, and is being pushed in several snowboarding and wakeboarding independent films. A major college radio push is in effect after being picked up as one of the Mountain Dew/AMP Energy Drink up-and-coming artists-via an AMP vehicle designed to empower musicians known as the "6-Pack", and is being circulated to over 400 college stations.
