More details about the Crisis
Bio
In 2007 the band release their first effort "hotline." which continues to sell at their shows. As of May 2008 the band has sold 2,500 copies while playing fan favorites "Stilts" and "Intergalactic". Since the release of the CD, the band has played shows with Drowning Pool, Breaking Benjamin, the Exies, 10 years, and the Ying Yang Twins. Tracking for a digital album are in the works for Winter 2008. The group has already released two of the songs from the upcoming album, "Pigeon Hole" and "What U What".
2008 has already seen the band play over 90 shows without interuption. THE CRISIS has been on a perpetual tour since the summer of 2005, stopping only to eat and sleep. The total number of shows played by the band is rumored to be in the 800's, but the band contests that it's around 700.
A team full of skilled musicians, the Crisis is filled out by George Thomas, III (Full Moon Circus) from Jackson, MS and by Charlie Carlisle (Faceplant) from Pasadena. Carrion and Thomas sing so well together they are often mistaken for brothers as their facial hair and vocal patterns are similar. Though they are only one month apart from birth, they are not related through blood, but through music. Both of them in their mid-twenties as the fronting faces of the band.
THE CRISIS music is for fans of music and lyrics that are not just thought-provoking, but socially conscious. The band believes that ordinary music can be made easliy, but extraordinary music must be grown and cultivated with society in order to really touch base.
Self-made and self-managed, these guys aren't looking for a record deal, but to make music that is honest and empathatic.
A truly unique and exciting experience. THE CRISIS is the future of musical entertainment. A true INTERVENTION to the country's music scene.
