Not even 21-years-old, and Soulja Boy has already released three albums and produced several club-bangin' singles. The Chicago native became interested in rap when he moved to Atlanta when he was a kid. After another move to Mississippi, Soulja Boy got his recording career in gear by self-promoting himself on Myspace and YouTube. In 2007, he released his first independent album, Unsigned & Still Major: Da Album Before the Album, which featured the hit single and dance "Crank That". The video for it was also shot independently and the dance became a nationwide craze. Soulja Boy released his major label debut, Souljaboytellem.com, in October, 2007 where it debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200.
